Before going up to Brick Lane to do my photo shoot I wanted to visit my location first in order to see it for myself as I have never been before. I needed to test if there would be appropriate features of the location to photograph so that I could plan ahead. Luckily I found lots of graffiti and street art which would be a interesting background for my model to stand in front of particularly for the double page spread. I was also able to visit Brick Lane itself to see if it had the correct 'atmosphere' and 'vintage shops' that my feedback claimed it would have. I found lots of vintage and thrift shops that would look good photographed inside my magazine therefore I aim to visit them again. Because Brick Lane Market only opens on a Sunday I was unable to see it therefore I will just have to hope it as good as it seems. After visiting my location I am thoroughly reassured that Brick Lane is a suitable location that will satisfy my target audience and magazine genre.
